Critical Hadronization Pressure
نویسنده
چکیده
We discuss the bulk properties of QGP produced at RHIC obtained at time of hadronization. We argue that hadronization of quark–gluon plasma occurs at a critical pressure near to 82 MeV/fm, obtained for SPS energy range.

Hadron Freeze-out and QGP Hadronization
Abundances and m⊥-spectra of strange and other hadronic particles emanating from central 158– 200 A GeV reactions between nuclei are found to originate from a thermally equilibrated, deconfined source in chemical non-equilibrium. Physical freeze-out parameters and physical conditions (pressure, specific energy, entropy, and strangeness) are evaluated. Five properties of the source we obtain are...
متن کاملComparison of Microcanonical and Canonical Hadronization
Average multiplicities and transverse momenta of hadrons are calculated using a microcanonical hadronization description for a cluster of given total energy and volume. As a function of the total energy, we determine the critical volume above which the microcanonical description coincides with the canonical one, and compare the results with those obtained using one of standard canonical models....
متن کاملSalient Features of Hadronization, Deconfinement and Heavy Quark Probes at RHIC
We present experimental features of identified particle production from nucleus-nucleus collisions at RHIC. These features reflect hadronization from a deconfined partonic matter whose particle formation scheme is distinctly different from fragmentation phenomenology in elementary collisions. Multi-parton dynamics, such as quark coalescences or recombinations, appear to be essential to explain ...
متن کاملThermal hadron production in pp and pp̄ collisions
It is shown that the hadron production in high energy pp and pp̄ collisions, calculated by assuming that particles originate in hadron gas fireballs at thermal and partial chemical equilibrium, agrees very well with the data. The temperature of the hadron gas fireballs, determined by fitting hadron abundances, does not seem to depend on the centre of mass energy, having a nearly constant value o...
